Calendar, schmalendar. I've been through a lot in the last five months and never really got to experience that whole "renewal" feeling of the new calendar year. But now spring has sprung, crocuses are blooming, and everything around me is practically screaming "fresh start!" So, I reiterate: happy new year!
I'm very excited about the start of spring this year and its accompanying sense of renewal. There's been a lot of physical and emotional difficulty in my life recently and it's time to stop letting that be an excuse not to live the life I deserve. I deserve to be happy, healthy, and to treat myself with kindness and generosity--no matter the circumstances.
And guess what. You deserve that, too.
